Why This Work Matters to Me
Hi, I’m Jill
I’ve always loved bringing people together. I believe some of life’s most meaningful moments happen around a table, through a shared meal, a good story, and the simple comfort of being with the people who know you best.
A few years ago, my mom became paralyzed after a fall. Later, my very fit and seemingly healthy dad was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer. Those experiences changed how I think about life, change, grief, and the ways we show up for one another during difficult and uncertain chapters.
My family began having conversations about care, loss, and what matters most before we felt ready. While those conversations were not always easy, they helped us feel more connected and better understand what each person needed, valued, and hoped for.
This work grew from wanting to create more space for people during tender and overwhelming times. Grief can come with illness, change, loss, and the many transitions life brings. In those moments, people should not also have to become event planners, research vendors, manage timelines, or worry about every last detail.
I take on the logistics so families and friends can focus on what matters: sharing favorite foods, playing beloved songs, telling the stories everyone remembers, and being together with love, laughter, memory, and connection.
